Refuge Pageau

A shelter for sick and injured animals from the boreal forest, Refuge Pageau’s mission is to care for and rehabilitate animals before setting them free. Guides eager to tell you about the facility’s legendary founder will recount the fascinating history of the shelter and the animals it has nursed back to health. The centre’s mission also involves playing host to the general public and raising awareness of the importance of protecting and loving animals. At the same time, it is a tourist attraction and a means of educating local residents.
