Built on the banks of the Richelieu River, the high stone walls of Fort Chambly tell stories of lives of New France inhabitants from 1665 to 1760. From June 21 to September 1st, interpreters describe the uniform worn by a French soldier, archaeological discoveries, and military architecture. On Sundays in July and August they suggest : musket firing, meetings with artisans and characters in period costumes.
