Discover the life of Gertrude Duchemin who, for over 40 years, served as nurse, midwife and, on occasion, veterinarian. You’ll learn more about how these front-line workers lived and worked and how the nursing stations operated. This site is one-of-a-kind in Québec, with its multimedia environment, furnishings, archival documents and various medical instruments.
